Husk architecture | interiors is an award winning architecture practice based in Newcastle. Founded in 2010 by Joey Trongchittham, the practice specialises in energy efficient and sustainable residential architecture and design.

Joey studied architecture at University of Newcastle from 1997 and graduated in 2002 with first class honours, was awarded the Board of Architects Prize (1999, 2000) and Sydney C. Morton Prize, and is listed on the Dean’s Honour Roll. He considers himself almost clever and creative enough to be a Novocastrian.

The practice portfolio includes residential alterations and additions, bespoke houses and interiors. Husk architecture | interiors recently won the 2015 Newcastle Architecture Awards – Residential Alterations & Additions for their Hamilton Alt & Add project.
